About the Client

Lenovo is a global technology leader, recognized for its innovation in PCs, infrastructure, and services. With a presence in over 180 markets, Lenovo drives transformation through its “Smarter Technology for All” vision, delivering solutions that span from pocket to cloud.

To keep its worldwide salesforce aligned and effective, Lenovo continuously invests in strategic sales enablement programs that help teams tell a clear, compelling story to customers everywhere.

One of these flagship initiatives is “Lenovo AI Talk Track”–a sales enablement course designed to help sellers confidently engage customers on AI. Whether they’re selling infrastructure, services, or devices, the program gives them concrete tools, talk tracks, and real-world success stories to turn client challenges into opportunities and position themselves as trusted advisors in the AI era.

PICKADO was selected as the end-to-end learning partner, responsible for transforming that initial concept into a complete solution: designing and producing the original English Rise 360 course and five training videos, and then localizing the full experience into multiple languages so sellers worldwide can benefit from the same high-impact content.

Project Goal

Lenovo wanted the “Lenovo AI Talk Track“ to land with the same impact in nine languages as it does in English—so every seller, in every region, could confidently lead AI-focused customer conversations.

The project aimed to:

  • Turn one flagship Rise 360 course and five training videos into a fully localized learning experience across nine languages.
  • Keep the AI messaging crystal clear and consistent across all formats, so sellers follow the same storyline, structure, and key phrases worldwide.
  • Preserve Lenovo’s premium brand look and feel, ensuring visuals, tone of voice, and on-screen text stayed aligned across the course and all videos.
  • Leverage an AI-first production approach: all videos were produced and edited in Synthesia, so scripts, subtitles, and timing had to be crafted to remain natural, synchronized, and engaging after translation.

PICKADO’s role: turn Lenovo’s initial concept into a polished, multilingual sales enablement asset that feels native in every language.

Challenges

The Talk Track experience wasn’t a simple document translation. It combined:

  • An interactive Rise 360 course
  • Five Synthesia-based training videos with narration, on-screen text, and subtitles

All these pieces had to tell one coherent AI story in nine languages—without losing nuance, sales impact, or Lenovo’s brand voice.

The Talk Track had to be delivered in nine different languages, each with its own expectations, terminology, and nuances.

For PICKADO, that meant:

  • Selecting and coordinating specialized linguists and proofreaders for all nine languages.
  • Ensuring everyone followed the same terminology, tone, and messaging for AI, products, and value propositions.
  • Aligning translations across the Rise course, video scripts, on-screen text, and subtitles so nothing felt “off” or out of sync.

Synthesia-based production and coordination

All five videos were created and edited in Synthesia, with the English versions already produced and approved before localization started.

The real challenge wasn’t the tool itself, but the team coordination around it:

  • Scripts and subtitles had to be adapted so they still worked naturally with AI avatars and timing in each of the nine target languages.
  • The production team needed clear, language-specific instructions to generate and review all localized versions without introducing inconsistencies.
  • Any improvement or tweak identified in one language often had to be replicated across all nine, across five separate videos.
  • Managing this smoothly required tight collaboration between translators, reviewers, and the video production team—so that every localized Synthesia video felt just as polished and intentional as the original English one.

Short deadlines, parallel timelines

The Talk Track was tied to Lenovo’s AI sales momentum. That meant:

  • Tight, non-negotiable deadlines for the initial English production and all localized versions.
  • Multiple languages moving in parallel, each with its own stakeholders and feedback cycles.
  • Very little room for rework—quality had to be right the first time.

PICKADO had to bring everything under control: unify the message, coordinate stakeholders and vendors, and deliver a polished, multilingual learning experience on schedule.

PICKADO Solution

PICKADO stepped in as Lenovo’s end-to-end learning and localization partner, transforming a strong idea into a polished, multilingual Talk Track experience – one Rise course and five videos, delivered in nine languages with consistent quality and impact.

a) End-to-end learning & localization partner

Lenovo came with the vision and PICKADO did the rest – with localization built in from day one:

  • We designed and built the original English Talk Track course in Rise 360, structuring every lesson, block, and interaction to be clear, reusable, and straightforward to translate.
  • We crafted scripts and on-screen text for five Synthesia training videos, shaping the narrative and wording so they worked smoothly in English and formed a solid base for multilingual adaptation.
  • We treated the English version as a master localization blueprint: consistent terminology, clean structure, and translation-friendly phrasing that would scale across all nine languages.

b) A robust multilingual translation process

To deliver quality across nine languages, we set up a dedicated translation process tailored to Lenovo’s Talk Track:

  • Handpicked linguists and proofreaders with experience in technology, AI, and sales enablement.
  • A Talk Track glossary covering Lenovo products, AI terminology, benefits, and recurring phrases, ensuring that critical wording stayed aligned across course and videos.
  • A clear tone and style guide so every language sounded like a confident, consultative sales conversation—not a literal or robotic translation.

Each language followed the same quality path:

  1. Translation of all course copy, video scripts, on-screen text, and subtitles
  2. Editorial review and refinement for clarity, fluency, and sales impact
  3. Terminology check against the shared glossary
  4. Final approval before integration into Rise and video assets

This process gave Lenovo a single, consistent message—just expressed naturally in nine different languages.

c) One unified workflow for Rise + Synthesia videos

Because PICKADO owned both the course and the video localization, we treated them as one integrated learning journey:

  • For Rise 360, we localized all text elements (headings, body copy, buttons, labels, interaction text) and then performed in-context QA to fix spacing, line breaks, and layout issues that appear only once content is in place.
  • For the five Synthesia videos, we adapted the English scripts and subtitles so they:
    • Matched the pacing and timing of the AI avatars
    • Aligned perfectly with the localized Rise content
    • Stayed concise, readable, and impactful on screen in every language

Our translation and production teams worked closely together, ensuring that every localized Synthesia video felt coherent with the course and just as polished as the original English version.

d) Tight project management and seamless collaboration

Behind the scenes, PICKADO coordinated all the moving parts into a smooth, predictable process:

  • A single project manager orchestrated linguists, proofreaders, instructional designers, and video production.
  • Clear timelines and priorities kept nine languages × one Rise course × five videos advancing in parallel—without sacrificing quality.
  • Feedback from Lenovo stakeholders was centralized and tracked, then rolled out consistently across all languages and all assets.

The result: Lenovo had full visibility and control, while PICKADO handled the complexity—delivering a complete, multilingual Talk Track experience that was ready for global rollout.

Results & Impact

Consistent talk track across 9 languages

Lenovo now has a single, aligned Talk Track experience across international markets, with:

  • Matching messages in Rise and video assets
  • Unified terminology for key products and value propositions
  • A professional, natural-sounding tone that fits sales conversations

Higher accessibility for global sellers

Sellers in multiple regions can access the Talk Track in their own language, lowering barriers to adoption and making it easier to:

  • Understand how to position Lenovo solutions
  • Reuse key phrases and narratives in customer conversations
  • Onboard new team members quickly

Strong brand and learning experience maintained

Despite being localized, all language versions:

  • Preserve Lenovo’s visual identity and design style
  • Deliver a clear, structured learning flow from introduction to key messages and recap
  • Feel like one coherent program rather than separate, region-specific adaptations

Scalable model for future localization

The project delivered more than just translated assets:

  • The glossary, style guidelines, and workflows created for Talk Track can now be reapplied to future Lenovo enablement content.
  • Lenovo has a proven, repeatable process with PICKADO for translating Rise courses and video-based training at scale.
